Day 16
There was an old woman who lived in a shoe,
She had so many children she did not know what to do.
There was no other adult to give her a hand,
Her partner was lazy and shouted demands.
He roared at the children and made them afraid,
He slapped them, he hit her, till she could no longer stay.
Then one day at Aoibhneas she finally did land,
Staff told her her options and where she might stand,
And Oh Joy this Christmas they won’t live in a shoe,
Thanks to Aoibhneas and Sonas they now have a home too!
