Pussy Cat, Pussy Cat , Where have you been?
I’ve been to Dublin to see a TD
Pussy Cat, Pussy Cat, How did you dare?
Well I needed his help because life is not fair.
You see I thought and I fought, I howled and I screamed
But I couldn’t stop that man from being so mean.
My owner’s called Dylan and he’s in big trouble,
But how can I prove it, his Dad is so subtle?
He plays with his head till the boy’s in a panic,
Now Dylan’s so down, I fear he is quite manic.
Then I heard on the news Brendan Smith’s the TD
Who listens to children, who might hear their plea.
So though I’m only a pussycat, I needed to dare
Go see that TD and tell him…
