Aoibhneas needs to continually fundraise for additional resources, as we are partly funded by the Health Services Executive and Dublin City Council. Unfortunately, some families who come to Aoibhneas often have to leave their worldly possessions behind and for many of the children its often following a traumatic incident. Upon a families arrival to the refuge we will provide them with emergency supplies to get them through their first couple of days. Therefore we are in need of a constant supply of clothes, food and toiletries.

Our main annual fundraising event is The Flora Womens Mini Marathon; we are always looking for new participants to take part in this fun event while raising money for a worthy charity.

Through the generosity from corporate donors we have been able to organise annual events in the refuge like our Summer Project and our Christmas Party for the families that have stayed in the refuge during the year.
