Support Workers
Resident’s have 24 hour, seven days a week, access to trained staff members, who provide emotional support and information, help with exploring options, and who empower women to make the decision that feels right for them as individuals.
Practical Help
You will receive practical help and information on legal, financial and housing issues. You will also be assisted in creating your own personal safety plan in the event you have to leave your home quickly.
Emotional Support
Emotional support is a basic necessity when someone finds themselves in a crisis. Resident’s or helpline callers will receive confidential support from staff (limited confidentiality applies regarding child protection issues) with in-depth knowledge on the complexity of abusive relationships. You will be listened to and understood by staff who are non-judgemental.
